We are currently seeking a Fine Dining and Resort Sales Rep. in West Palm Beach, FL.

 

Position Mission: To maximize Sales of the ABI and Specialty Product Portfolios in Palm Beach County by selling in and promoting our Specialty Beers, with a focus on High End Imports, Craft and Local Craft, within Fine Dining and High End Hotels/Resorts.

 

Responsibilities

Sales & Merchandising

  • Opening up new Fine Dining and High End Hotel/Resort accounts promoting our brands within them through proper training of wait staff, usage of proper glassware, menu placements and implementing High End/Specialty Beer menus.
  • Upon opening the account, the position will be responsible for properly setting up the account with the appropriate sales person for their weekly inventory needs. 
  • Monitor Sales trends in applicable accounts to ensure objectives are properly allocated and representative of BDC’s sales goals.
  • Participate in Sales Calls to achieve development of new business in existing BDC Accounts.
  • Maintaining a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly call frequency on all established accounts based on volume or prestige.  To be defined by High End Marketing Manager.
  • Must work to establish strong relationships in Fine Dining and High End Hotel/Resort accounts to develop new business.
  • Provide accountability of On Premise Specialty Sales Teams by checking rotation and code dates

Servicing

  • Call on each account as scheduled, each day without fail.
  • Create, develop, and maintain professional working relationship in every account.
  • Follow-up on all business commitments to your customers.
  • Service all customer requests in a timely manner.

Related Sales Duties

  • Communicate daily with the drivers and warehouse staffs to make sure all orders were received.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Make sure you have current “selling tools” with you in your vehicle.
  • Drive your vehicle safely, courteously, and obey all traffic regulations. Report all traffic violations to High End Marketing Manager immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records and process all orders, reports, and forms as required.
  • Report all competitive activities to High End Marketing Manager.
  • Attend all On Premise sales meetings.
  • Follow all BDC rules and regulations.

Administrative

  • Maintain an updated and accurate account call system, set by the High End Marketing Manager for actual account calls.
  • Insure that retail execution of all BDC and Anheuser-Busch programs are carried out and in a professional and timely manner in designated accounts.
  • Target to each account the following specific account objectives:
    • Brand building
    • Distribution
    • New account contact
    • Draft placement/presentation
    • Specific sales promotion programs
    • Targeted price points versus competition
  • Complete all necessary market surveys as requested by department

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years selling/branding experience in Beer
  • Prior experience in off-premise or on-premise sales, preferably in Craft Beer
  • Knowledgeable and Passionate for Specialty Imported Beer
  • Professional Appearance in line with Fine Dining 
  • Effective communicator and customer service focused
  • Relationship Builder
  • Must have a valid Florida Driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to obtain Wine and Spirits License
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work a flexible full time schedule
  • Dedicated and self-motivated, passionate about the Beer Industry!
