The Family Office of Brown Distributing Company, Brown Distributing Holding Company, is currently seeking a dedicated Family Office Marketing and Administrative Associate in West Palm Beach, FL to assist on a variety of personal and business projects.


Great entry level opportunity into the corporate world for the right candidate!  Working in a fast paced and dynamic, small office environment; the ideal candidate will have a high energy attitude and be ready to tackle any project with a sense of focused urgency.  This position is research and project driven and reports to the Family Office Administrator, working closely with all members of the family office as well as the founding family.


The essential functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Point person on special projects and ad-hoc requests;
  • Reception duties, general office support duties, and first line of communication for the team;
  • Creatively research various initiatives whether charitable, investment, personal or business-related for the Family Office;
  • Calendar management, itinerary research and complex travel coordination;;
  • Tech savvy and research driven;
  • Develop strong rapport with team members while demonstrating flexibility and willingness to assist co-workers at all times;
  • Able to juggle many things at once and work well under deadlines and pressure;
  • Critical thinking, focused, detail oriented, and forward thinking;
  • Be willing to roll up sleeves and do whatever needs to be done to realize the goals of the family office.


  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Recent grads welcome!
  • Strong School GPA highly desired.
  • High level of motivation and ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Solid computer skills and tech savvy for personal and business research
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency of MS Office, Apple products, Adobe, Google, Twitter and all social media platforms
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; excellent people & project management skills
  • Acute attention to accuracy and detail in all aspects of responsibilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, multi-task, and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to take direction as well as initiative, anticipate needs and exercise sound judgement;
  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality is imperative;
  • Ability to discern when to be a creative thinker and when directives need to be followed and objectives met;
  • Ability to think outside the box and creatively;
  • Excellent planning, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Able to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Professional attitude and demeanor required
  • Can do attitude – no task too big or small mentality required
