    We are currently seeking a career-minded National Account Manager - Grocery to join our team in Florida!

     

    This position is responsible for the management of Key BDC Accounts and maximizing authorizations and placement of BDC brands. 

     

    Responsibilities

    Sales

    • Sell BDC Key Accounts at the Decision Point level, Manager level and Store level to achieve the successful completion of sales programs at retail
    • Sell-in brand and package authorizations to chain account decision makers and ensure the successful implementation at store level
    • Ensure the maintenance and execution of all P.O.S. in assigned chain accounts
    • Report to the Director of National Accounts
    • Sell-in BDC display programs to chain account decision makers and ensure the successful implementation at store level

    Planning/Preparation

    • Obtain all pertinent information regarding reset:
      • Quick review of retailer’s goals and requests
      • Obtain supplies to implement reset (rail strips, P.O.S., miscellaneous)
    • Print addition and deletion lists for Managers and Sales reps.

    Communication

    • Notify the Sales Rep. of any product additions or stock needed, including the date and time of the reset
    • Work with buyers and the team to minimize boomerang beer.
    • Communicate all upcoming programs to the Team Leaders.
    • Coordinate with competition an amicable reset schedule that best coincides with Chain’s time lines
    • Control all communication with the competitor and the Chain as it relates to the reset process

    Field Execution

    • Execute sets according to plan-o-gram provided by Chain
    • Record and changes to the set
    • Put away excess back stock
    • Pull all deletions in cooler and bring to the DSD Receiver and/or Store Manager
    • Provide Store Manager with information that possible tweaks may be necessary in the future as new products and packages need to be accommodated
    • Thank and update Store Manager with final sheet
    • Communicate all Out of Stocks to Team Leaders and Sales Reps.
    • Ride the market with Team Leaders and Sales Reps.

     

    Administrative

    • Ensure that all chain pricing/programs are accurate and present to the sales team
    • Prepare and deliver sales meeting presentations monthly
    • Work with Sales Operations to track all Grocery ad activity
    • Ensure we submit promotional and front-line chain account pricing to buying offices according to their administrative needs
    • Target to each account the following specific account objectives:
      • Brand building
      • Distribution
      • Multiple packaging
      • Shelf-space increase
      • Specific sales promotion programs
      • Targeted price points versus competition

    Qualifications

    • Two years of college; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry
    • Passionate and knowledgeable of Beer Industry
    • Ability to forge strong relationships
    • Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear
    • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
    • Outgoing personality, customer service oriented, team player
