We are currently seeking a Settlement Clerk to support our growing business in Richmond, VA!

 

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

Full Time Schedule

Approximately 9:30am-5:30pm

 

Compensation:

$20/hour

$400/month pay for performance bonus potential 

Responsibilities

Position is responsible for daily settlement of delivery routes, processing checks received from delivery routes, and checks received through the mail. Providing customer service related to accounting issues and for assisting in the collection of receivables through managing customer invoices.  

 

Primary Duties

  • Processes driver end of day settlement paperwork to ensure accuracy of deposits reported
  • Works with delivery management to address pricing discrepancies and route shortages by reviewing daily DNC sheet
  • Processes checks through electronic scanner
  • Processes invoices received from routes
  • Scan event license & invoice Information
  • Sending emails nightly providing supporting documentation for any settlement issues.
  • Complete end of day process
  • Enter EFT customer information and follow up with missing documentation
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Ability to meet stated deadlines with the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and assure compliance with company and other applicable policies and procedures
  • Ability to grasp new systems software/database programs quickly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and very strong analytical and problem-solving skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Two-year Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Experience: Inventory, accounting or auditing experience desirable
  • Skills: Proficiency in Excel required. Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
